The Kirkin' o' the Tartan in Montreat

Each year on the Sunday of Memorial Day weekend, Montreat Presbyterian Church marks the historical origins of Presbyterianism by worshiping with the Montreat Scottish Society’s Kirkin’ o’ the Tartan service in Anderson Auditorium in Montreat. The Montreat Scottish Pipes & Drums will lead the procession of banners.

The Montreat Scottish Society hosts one of the nation’s largest Kirkin’ o’ the Tartan services.

The Montreat Scottish Society’s 44th Kirkin’ o’ the Tartan was held on Sunday, May 24 at 11:00 A.M.

Guest Preacher: The Rev. Cecelia Armstrong, Co-moderator of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.)

Guest Organist: Jane Cain, M.M.
