Mission & Outreach
Our church community is very committed to mission and outreach. We strongly support missions in Haiti, Honduras, Malawi, and Zambia.
Closer to home we actively support PCUSA entities as well as organizations beyond our denomination.
Montreat Wednesdays
Montreat Wednesdays is a weekly event held every Wednesday at the Montreat Presbyterian Church throughout the year. Please join us and check out our events by clicking the button below.
Education
Christian Education is lifetime education. We engage our community with weekly Christian Education programs and monthly Women’s Circle meetings.
Montreat Presbyterian Church welcomes all children in worship and in the life of this congregation. We encourage children to sing and pray with the congregation as together we worship God.
- Some children find it easier to listen when they are drawing or coloring, so we provide a Children’s Table in the back of the worship space, which includes books and clipboards with activities.
- Bible Story Time begins September 1, 2024
- If parents prefer, a nursery is provided for infants to five-year-olds in the Allen Building from 9:45 to 11:15 A.M.
The Montreat Women’s Circle will have its first meeting on Tuesday, September 17 at 10:00 A.M. in the Walkup Building (300 Community Center Drive). The new Horizons Bible study is Let Justice Roll Down: God’s Call to Care for Neighbors and All Creation, by Patricia Tull.
Meetings are held the 3rd Tuesday of each month at 10:00 A.M. in the Walkup Building.
Earth Care Ministry
At Montreat Presbyterian Church our members are given opportunities to put their faith into hands-on action, living out Jesus’ commandments. We partner with several organizations in the area.
